  • MONDAY, 11/7/2022 at 4:30PM – Demand Justice for #AnthonyMcClain at the Pasadena City Council Meeting on Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/161482446Call in to the Pasadena City Council meeting and demand justice for #KendrecMcDade and demand the City Council fire the police officers who murdered #AnthonyMcClain.   • TUESDAY, 11/8/2022 at 10AM – City Council Meeting at 200 N. Spring St. – Councilmembers Gil Cedillo and Kevin de Leon continue to refuse to resign and the city council continues to silence public protest by sending police with riot gear into council chambers. We can not go about business as usual when those who have harmed Angelenos are still sitting on the council. Let’s raise our voices against the council and refuse their business as usual. NO RESIGNATIONS, NO MEETINGS!

  • TUESDAY, 11/8/2022 at 6:30PM – Torrance City Council Meeting for #ChristopherDeAndreMitchell at TorranceCA.gov and facebook.com/TorranceCA/TorranceStand with the family of #ChristopherDeAndreMitchell by demanding the council deliver justice in his name by meeting these demands: 1) Fire Torrance police officers Matthew Concannon, Anthony Chavez, and Brian Kawamoto killing Christopher 2) Establish a civilian oversight commission.   • WEDNESDAY, 11/9/2022 at 9AM – City Council Meeting at 200 N. Spring St. – Business will not go on as usual as long as Kevin de Leon and Gil Cedillo are still on the council! Come out to city hall to stand with “The Blacks” and make your voice heard during the virtual public comment. NO RESIGNATIONS, NO MEETINGS!

  • WEDNESDAY, 11/9/2022 at 4PM – #ENDPOLICEASSOCIATIONS at 1313 W. 8th St. – Police associations donate large sums of money into campaigns for candidates they can easily bully and bribe. Bring your voices, your energy, and your commitment to building a just and free world, where police departments don’t steal more than half of the overall city budget. Wear a mask! Snacks and water provided! Streamed live on Instagram at @blmlosangeles. Every Wednesday at 4pm!

  • SUNDAY, 11/13/2022 - BLMLA Monthly Organizing Meeting at the Center for Black Power, 3423 W. 43rd Place in AfricaTown/Leimert Park - We’ll be talking about strategizing around our continued fight to force racist, disgraced City Councilman Kevin De Leon to resign and gearing up for Black Xmas. Open to families, youth, elders, ALL Black people, non-Black allies, returning and new folks. Closed to cops, media, and elected officials. Dinner and grocery bags provided. Donations welcome, but not required.

  • FRIDAY, 11/25/2022-1/1/2023 – #BlackXmas – It’s our annual campaign to divest from white-supremacist capitalism and #BuildBlack, #BuyBlack, and #BankBlack. We need everyone to pitch in as we make this the best #BlackXmas ever…including providing a comprehensive list of Black-led revolutionary organizations, identifying Black businesses that benefit the community, and moving our money out of white corporate banks that finance our oppression.   • Our weekly #EndPoliceAssociations protest continued at 1313 W. 8th St., across the street from the Los Angeles Police Protective League and in front of the People’s Mural. We celebrated our successes and continued to demand #EndPoliceAssociations.

  • Last Saturday’s This Is Not A Drill discussed Justice in the name of #JaheimMcMillan, with Jaheim’s family, Pastor Carl Soto of Black Lives Matter-Restoration Polk, Deanna Hardy Joseph, mother of #AndrewJosephIII and Black Lives Matter-Grassroots, and Mississippi Grassroots Organizer Marquell Bridges. The conversation was hosted by our Sister Dr. Melina Abdullah, with Baba Akili in the co-host chair. Missed it? Watch here.

  • Sunday morning pop up at San Vicente Bungalows chased racist, disgraced LA City Councilman from his hideout. We are still on #OperationResignation and are committed to confronting DeLeon wherever he is. There is no room for racists on LA City Council!
